VanillaCloud starts in different stages, to ensure best service and best availability for our users.
During Softlaunch-period, clusters are provisioned and managed automatically on your request by our team. Customers are onboarded manually. This means, a customer one needs to wait for some minutes or hours, before the onboarding process is executed and cluster are set up. Additionally, these services are just available 9x5 CET, unless the premium support package or a managed service package has been booked.
Softlaunch allows us to fine-tune and integrate new features as they are ready. The basic cluster functionalities will always be given, allowing us to welcome even your professional workloads on our platform.
During Public Beta-period, onboarding and cluster-management are executed automatically, although some manually supervised processes might still be in place. This implies, customers can enjoy most of the benefits of our automatted environment.
Public Beta allows us to upscale and double-check new features under load. All basic functionalities will always be given, allowing us to welcome even your professional workloads on our platform.
In the Production phase, all features are running completely autonomous and are available 24/7 as self-service options. In production phase, new customers will be onboarded without manual intervention, although certain approval processes in regards to cluster sizes, etc., will be in place. This ensures your and our safety and saves money.
During Production phase, new features to the platform are rolled out in a similar way as described above: Softlaunch > Beta > Production.
